They have a small ball park. I don't know if they made that point on TV or not.

Two of their home runs would have been off the wall, at best, at Alex Box.

Left is short (315) but it's also very tall. The box plays smaller than the distances posted on the wall.

right field seems short but left doesnt.

the field seems small because the fans are literally on top of the field.

Don't they have some .500 + hitters?

I think they have 1, but Jim said he doesn't play much. Came into the game in the 8th or 9th iirc.

They only hit one home run, which would have been out of any park in the world.

Their hitters are legit. They maul left handed pitchers so Matulis definately has to be very sharp today.

You want to see a really small college park, Memphis sports dimensions of 318-360-379-360-315. Most high schools are deeper down the lines. East Carolina also is a little small and sports a 5 foot fence in the outfield; balls fly out of that place.

The announcers did mention that the Auburn park is small.

Rittener handled them pretty well.

another big thing to look at is they play in a small park and all have pretty high batting averages.. with less room they are still hitting very well. its not like all their hits are home runs.
