The OC at Kentucky will do a great job developing the young man's talent.

Agree, I wasn’t sold on him, he faced a lot of weak competition even for HS

Bryce Underwood

Have you even looked at his stats?

They are so meh that Portnoy isnt giving any more $$$ for him. Playing in the B1G, against 2 cupcakes, and only 2 ranked teams, hes had:

* 2 games under 100 yds passing (another was 105)
* 3 games of less than 10 completions
* 5 games under 60% completion rate
* 9 TD / 6 int ratio
* 4 games under 100 QB rating
* 3 games with negative yards (another with 1 yd rushing)
* 17 sacks
* The teams he beat were a combined 47-49 on the season
* Teams he lost to are 31-5 (by double digits in each game)

No reason to spend any money on him, until he proves he can compete with the big boys

Consider this, Bryce Underwood was 1000% LSU for over a year until an unbelievable amount of money was brought to the table in the final hour.

It's one thing to have a drawn out recruiting battle and eventually pick Michigan. It's a different thing to have a change of heart after being committed to a school and change horses midstream. It's a WHOLE other thing to be "1000% LSU for over a year" and frick us over at 11:59 for a bag when it's too late for us to do anything about it or have a fallback plan.

You made your bed, now go lie in it and don't come crying to me when everything isn't rainbows and bunny rabbits. Michigan can have him. Can't wait to play him!!

explain the headache part?

Having to pay an unproven guy 4 mil a year (1/6th of LSU's stated total budget) is a headache.

Serious question: Is he really that good? I know he didn't have a sensational season but don't know the details.
