Just Heisman Winner and CFB/Pro Hall of Famer Marcus Allen casually hanging out on the sidelines with CFB Hall of Fame and National Championship coach John Robinson.

I told my wife (no pics pervs) this exact same thing. And she just didn’t get it. I have failed.

Marcus still looks like he could run it.

I bet he could still get it into the end zone from inside the five. The man had a knack for scoring TDs.

Saw Allen (and Charles White) play in one of the best games ever played in Tiger Stadium. 1979. Although the Tigers lost, it was an amazing game, an amazing crowd, an amazing effort by an underdog LSU team that received a standing ovation at the end of the game. Perhaps the only time in Tiger Stadium that the crowd gave such an ovation in a loss. Glad to see him back on the field, this time with the good guys, and with Coach Robinson as well.

You think recruits don’t see this? This is what Carroll did at USC. Coach O understands that this model is how you get pick of litter

Yup. And it’s damn cool

Marlon Favorite spoke this offseason about it on a radio show I was listening too. O wants all former players to come back. shite, even Cecil Collins ( ) at one point. Favorite said how Miles was never really open to that.

Would have been cool to get an interview with Allen about his recollections of that night. Without a doubt, that ‘79 USC team was probably the most talent laden teams ever to play in Tiger Stadium...2 Heisman winners, multiple various HOF inductees, a legendary coach...amazing to think LSU was within a hair of beating them.

No one left. Traffic has never been good, but the stadium was not as big as it is now.

It would. I hope that, of it hasn’t already been done, that someone will get an account from Coach Robinson, now that he is in BR.
