There was a massive amount smoking in the SuperDome

All of the fire works display going on for the introduction to both teams entering left a huge amount of smoke in the Superdome, yet some Barnie Fife wanna be Sheriff threatens to lock up some LSU players for smoking a handful of cigars after winning college football’s greatest prize. GFY Barnie!

Rules never go out the window, but usually there’s leniency under certain circumstances. This wasn’t a hospital, this was a sporting event with plenty of smoke already placed in the air. Give me a break effing snowflake.

Yep.
Fireworks are illegal in EBR Parish, and so are open containers of alcohol.
You don't see cops ticketing or arresting folks on New Year's Eve or 4th of July for fireworks, and you don't see that for public drinking on Gamedays around campus.
Now, try walking around Tiger Stadium with a beer on Tuesday, you'd get popped. Same think if you start blowing stuff up some random day in March.
They just won the natty, let them puff on a post-game stogie in the locker room.

I work in the dome every once in a while. That is a dome security guard. He rides on a bike and blows his whistle at cars “escorting them” to the exit. He was trying to make it about him, just like Odell.
