With the difference in style of play, would have been a fun game. Their defense wouldn't have had a clue on how to guard our receivers and their offense would have run wild on a defense set up against the RPO.

Just like when they played Miami several years ago, their inabiltiy to defend a pro style passing offense would have had a much more difficult task than us try to defend against a run dominant power team

Leave out LSU's record against top ten opponents...7 wins against them. And don't even consider that LSU played in the SEC, which was light years stronger than Big 8 or whatever they called that league.
Such silliness and so predictable.. anybody but LSU! who by any honest observer is the clear winner of the best team of all time.

Haven't heard that name in years. My friend's dad used to read it back in the 80's.

I remember listening to Sporting News radio 20 years ago but I figured someone would have bought them out by now.

wins over five final top-8 teams

Are you joking they ran the power I, they would get destroyed by Chase and Jefferson!

What does their offense have to do with who would cover chase and Jefferson?

They beat Florida 62-24 in the national championship. Their defense did fine against Steve Spurrier, Danny Weuffel and Ike Hilliard.

Again, I said if there was one team with a chance. A chance, to debate at all, I didn’t say beat us. It literally can’t happen so relax.
