The goal for the staff is to win games.
Transfer portal has forced the coaches into a tough situation.
Declare a winner and be in a single point of failure scenario.
Or, kinda know what the answer is, but let it play out and have a good backup?
The players wanted it to be more like real life. More like a business.
Well, it's a business.
Not to do what's best for each player. But to win games.
Let the best player win.

The funny thing about reports like that is that they assume everyone knows except Brennan. Like it's some inside joke only he doesn't get.
That guy is quoting freshman receivers and other people that apparently know there is no competition, but Brennan doesn't know.

How's it click bait? It's the exact title and subject of the video. I'm sure he'd appreciate the views but click bait is more along the lines of "How did a big set of tiddies cause Max to break his arm?" with a picture of said tiddies.

I don't believe that for one second. As Ed O said on WWL last month that he, the coaching staff, and all the players in the locker room already know who the starter will be because it is obvious to everyone.
If that is true, then so do Max and Myles know as well. As I never believed those reports that said that Myles was going to transfer as soon as he finds out he didn't win the QB derby because, for all intents and purposes, it was already too late for him to transfer and to still be able to play in 2021.
I always figured Myles would remain at LSU as the backup to Max for the remainder of the season, while collecting NIL, and then hit the transfer portal in early 2022 and probably transfer to Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin.

I thought that analysis nailed it. Good stuff. When the you tube put it in the perspective of 3rd and 10 against Bama, who you taking? Max of course! But I do appreciate Brennan’s loyalty. But brothers, we gotta ride with the guy who can handle all situations and Max has the poise, the grit and the versatility to do it all.

Actually, you dumb severely mentally handicapped low-information ignoramus, I have posted what Blake Ruffino of the AYS podcast has been saying about Max Johnson separating himself from Myles Brennan both in the locker room and on the field for the past two months on this damn site numerous times and since the first time I heard him report it.
As I have been knowing since then that Myles Brennan was not going to be the starter.
Moreover, you dumb low-information ignoramus, Blake Ruffino is not the only insider that has been reporting that Max is the impending starter. Other insiders have been reporting it as well.
