There is reason Daniels has never thrown more than 17 TD in his college years

He isn't a down field thrower. He makes up for it with his scrambling ability.

2019 started as a true Fr 17 TDs/ 2 Ints
2020 limited stats (ASU only played 4 games due to COVID)
2021 full season 10 TDs/ 10 INTs
2022 goes to LSU and records 17 TDs/3 INTs

In 3 full seasons averaging less than 15 TDs per season.

I’m not a JD fan but what’s his total TDs?

I would answer, but we aren't supposed to mention his positive stats... especially rushing yards and touchdowns. The only metric that matters to this board is throwing the ball downfield.

Well he didn’t score one with his feet yesterday either.

Jayden isn’t perfect, but this board is getting embarrassing with the Jayden Slander. (And I don’t even necessarily mean this thread). I just mean in general since last night.

3 biggest plays of the game in the 2nd half.

1) Drop by Lacy on 3rd Down that potentially could’ve been a TD.

2) Drop by Edwards inside the 15 yard line

3) Nabers falls down on a back shoulder play and the ball gets intercepted

Then LSU’s defense proceeded to play like certified pussies for the entire 4th Q.

This loss wasn’t even close to being on Jayden.

Didn't say it was. The inability to throw down field hurts us.

The last 10 Heisman winning QB have all had double thr passing TD that JD has had on his best year.

Imagine that...but but his rushing ability

Learn ball brotha

A lot of you twats on this board didn’t even like Burrow until midway through his Sr Year

And now you expect every LSU QB to be that and it ain’t ever happening again, chump.

He and Travis finished with similar passing stats 347 (let's assume that the lil double pass from FSU was the 12 yard difference). Yards per attempt were 8 to 11. Please everyone, step off the delusional gas. Jayden played fine.

The reason is...wait for it...he cannot play QB. He should be a DB or RB or WR. Anything but a QB.

Other than stupidity, I can’t fathom how the other team puts 45 points on us and somehow the focus is on the offense and JD. Not to say there isn’t much to improve on offense, but the biggest issue was defense.
That said, we definitely must have a consistent deep threat to compete.

Why is 17 a magical number? We only should care about the touchdowns in competitive games, it doesn't matter how many touchdowns JD scores against Southern and Ga. State. Those games are easier victories, we need to worry about who can score touchdowns against Alabama and Texas AM

We can’t slander JD, but we most certainly can slander the entire defense and called them “certified pussies?”

Probably because:
-The offense returned 10 starters, the defense returned 5
-JD was supposed to be a top 3 Heisman candidate
-The WRs were touted as one of the best in CFB
-The OL was supposed to be one of the best in the SEC based on the talking heads
-LSU was supposed to have one of the best TE rooms in CFB
-The D was starting 2 portal CBs
-Maason Smith once again was out
-FSU has 2 1st RD graded WRs in Coleman and Watson
-Travis is an exceptional QB and FSU is supposed to be one of the best offenses in CFB
-Based on all of the above the offense needed to keep pace and not go 3/13 on 3rd and 4th down and score more than 17 with a final TD after the game is decided with less than 2 minutes to go. If the O does their job then likely the FSU O doesn't score as many points and we at least have a shot in the 4th.

Actually if you look at his Arizona State highlights (especially the freshman year ones), a lot of his TDs are downfield throws.

LINK Youtube of said highlights

I made a similar post a few weeks back. It's crazy to see and makes you wonder how you get him back to that.

It's like the Ints his last year at ASU made him permanently gun shy.
