There is no way in hell that there was no left handed pitchers to recruit.

That were better than some of these right handlers on the team.
Something is wrong in the recruiting.

It's called nepotism. Old Paul has some favorite sons on his team with NCAA limited rosters. It's catching up with him. No lefty is a joke. The lefty la tech got from juco was locating throwing 90 and changing speeds. Lsu can't find one. Unreal.

It is certainly a head scratcher for me.

Been saying this all year. For the life of me I just can’t understand how a Top 25 team like LSU can not have 1 LHP. I understand McMurray is on the roster but they knew he wouldn’t be available this year. Just don’t understand it

Hell, they don’t even have to be a “good” lefty. Just the matchup against left handed hitters is reason for at least 2 or 3 on the roster.

Paul tried but nobody was left.

Its really not defensible ...but I don’t know what lefties they were heavily recruiting that didn’t pan out. But it really seems ridiculous to not have more lefties

A bunch of people full of shite in here. Lester was the only poster that didn’t bury his head in the sand that this was an issue

Can someone point out one game where having a left handed pitcher would have made a difference? I get that it is not good to not have a lefty pitcher and it should not have happened but I can’t think of a game where a lefty would have changed he outcome.

How would you know???? Isn’t that the point.

What really showed complete complacency is the statistic showing the amount of SEC schools left arms someone sent out at the beginning of the year of . Head scratcher to say the least.

All anyone can do is speculate.
But I will play along.
Maybe having a lefthanded pitcher to practice against would have helped our hitters.
This team is totally intimidated by almost any left handed pitcher.

This roster is poorly constructed all the way around.

And then Pawl cut Reid instead of one of 20 right handed pitchers we have! Lmao!!

Pitchers don’t throw pitching practice! Not in college. Come on now.

I'm not researching but I wonder if LSU is the only program without a lefty? I would love to hear the excuse of not having a lefty on the roster
