Arkansas is pretty bad. They HATE LSU up there.
Yeah an Arkansas game in Little Rock is something everyone should experience. The only other time Ive seen so many people missing arms, legs and teeth was Lady's Night in Chalmette circa 2009.

I'm really surprised at all of the Arkansas answers. I figured it would Florida by a mile. Were the games in Fayetteville or Little Rock

Gainesville in general is just a horrible city. Nothing to do before or after games. Campus ugly. People suck. Man I hate that fukin school. Bama students are usually from all over so they don’t really have a clue about football. Absolutely no interest in traveling to Arkansas at any point in my life.

Fayetteville is actually a really nice city.

Ark at the dump little stadium was worst I’ve seen.
Auburn used to be pretty bad before Alabama took over, back 10-15 yrs ago.
Which I haven’t been to auburn in several years so they may still suck.
I have had blast at ole miss

I have been going to out of town games for 50 years and have been all over the place. By far the worst I have ever been treated was by the Arkansas fans in Little Rock. The worst experience I ever had with the fans at an away game was the time when Jordan Jefferson was QBing the Tigers and Arkansas won the game to earn a Sugar Bowl bid. I have a high tolerance for that kind of stuff but these people were being vulgar and brutal even to young girls and little children. We sat in the LSU section but I am talking about in the parking lot before and after the game.... The nicest fans in the SEC were at aTm. The Auburn fans are pretty nice. Ole Miss pretty bad especially on those rare occasions when they have a good team. On a national level, the Notre Dame fans were about the nicest I have run across. .

Gainesville used to be rough during the Spurrier years. Worst experience I’ve ever had was in Athens. It’s the only place I honestly felt like It was going to get physical. Ole Miss fans are just plain asses but it’s more humorous because they are such a joke and yet think they are a major player.

Believe it or not, my worst experience by far was Kentucky fans when they upset us in 2007. I've been to dozens of away games all over the country and nothing has ever come close to that. I honestly dont think they knew how to react to winning a big football game and just went crazy.

Went to Gainesville once. I will never go back. Horrible town. Little to no tailgating atmosphere. I expect some angst when going to another team's stadium, but gator fans were just awful. They'd get in your face screaming "frick you!" trying to provoke a fight. And the Gainesville police are fricking dicks.
Yet, the only physical altercation I've gotten into was with a gump at Tiger Stadium.

The fan base whose fans brag on TD about piss balloons has no room to criticize other teams drunken fans.

Certainly you understand hyperbole and realize that those piss balloon statements are tongue in cheek. They also come from when other teams fans used to make up outlandish stories about LSU fans being awful, so we just took it to the nth degree.

My friend and his wife (no pics) go to the Ole Miss Game every time it is away and they have always reported back with good experiences except for this past year. They sat in an LSU section that was adjacent to the Ole Miss student section and said students were throwing drinks and bottles into the LSU crowd.
They said this was the first time they had ever been near the student section there. How can any school think it's a good idea to put a visitor section near your students?
I've personally been to all the SEC schools at some point except for Missouri. I have found Gainesville to probably be consistently the worst, especially when they are doing well. My favorite away game moment was in 2002 when Mauck, Devery Henderson, and Corey Webster ran a train on the Gators 36-7. Webster had 3 INT and scored on one of them. About midway through the 3rd quarter after an LSU score, the Gator fans all seemed to leave at once, as if the place was on fire. They were tripping over each other to get to the exits. It was glorious.
As for the others, I probably enjoy Mississippi St. fans the most. They are friendly and seem to know their place and they don't bother anyone. And their campus is underrated. It's very nice, as opposed to the rest of the armpit that is Starkville.
And like most have said, Ole Miss fans are snobby, Texas A&M fans are weird, and everybody else is somewhere in between.
