Here in Lafayette.

I just went to the gas station and convenience store and saw 4 different people wearing Bama gear.

What must it be like to be so bitter and inadequate that you're forced to root against your neighbor's sports team? I'm a 3rd generation graduate of USL, and I just can't defend it anymore.

Grow up, little brother.

I am really glad that most of Asheville doesn't give a shite about college football after nights like last night.

If the gas station you use has 4 or more people there wearing Bama gear....you might be a redneck!

When LSU plays Bama, there are anti-LSU parties all over Lafayette. This town sucks like a hoover this time of year. I was reprimanded by my co workers for saying that its a good thing USL plays in the Sun garbage conference so they can get their 6 bowl eligible wins every year.

People who aggrandize themselves by flaunting an attachment to a football victory are every bit as pathetic as those who cry over a defeat. It's just football... it's OK to be happy or unhappy about a game, but YOU DIDN'T BUILD THAT.

This is really sad to hear as Acadiana, in my opinion, is a lynchpin of Louisiana charm and a really neat part of the state. It's annoying that New Orleans and Lafayette have a noticeable anti LSU vibe.

I have getting the same feeling reading articles in the times on Nola website. Just how messed up is that? Can't even support the team from the state where they live and earn money from.

These are the people who were wearing Colorado/Michigan gear in 1995 2 different decades of Miami and Florida State gear. There is an exception and you nailed it. Many of those people are too ashamed to wear their ULL or Nicholls State colors, so they pick the team that dominates LSU.

Weather the storm.

Their program is really unbelievable, but I doubt they will ever reach these heights again under another coach, not in our lifetime.

The time will come where we will take diarrhea dumps on their face again. Be patient young one.

Next time you see this and it starts to get you heated...

Just remember that they spent their (or more likey their parents) hard-earned money on merchandise for a team that they really don't care about, completely out of spite.

All I can do is laugh at what a miserable existence they must have.

Pathetic
