but is this going to be a problem for us?

Depends how well prepared we are, I think Auburn having a bye last week really helped them, but it still will be a challenging game for us. Byrum Brown is gonna be tougher to bring down than Marcel Reed or Kenny Minchey

Allbarn QB likes to run left and right outside but against LSU I suspect they will be looking to the middle, as you say. I hope LSU can disguise and then stop that interior weakness we have shown, and set the edges so everything wide is turned back inside.

Your sentiment is often true regarding this, but his comment is spot on. They had success up the middle.

thought that was inherent in the “bend don’t break” Baker defense. Maybe not?

You are correct. He goes to this when we are up. Our first half defense has been pretty good.

It will definitely be a problem at Tennessee after watching Bishop run yesterday

I love it when Tigerdroppings fans get on here and come up with their own football terminology to help self explain something they think they saw during the game….. while at the same time admitting they don’t know shite about ball.

It's a valid concern. They were missing their top back. They gouged up and spent a lot of time in Tiger territory. It was bend but don't break against an inferior opponent playing a freshman quarterback in the first game of his career.

The shutout was nice but we're not shutting Auburn out if UGa couldn't do it, particularly will Godzilla playing quarterback. Those short yardage red zone stops won't come as easily vs Auburn.

Will Baker be up to the task?

See, that’s the thing, Levee. I’m trying to learn.

I don’t know the terminology. That’s why I’m trying to tap the expertise here.

I readily admit I don’t have a very high football IQ, especially when it comes to defense. Would be glad to hear your take (with proper terms).
