Why will Mike Martin and Joe Alleva determine whether Simon, Mathieu, and Ware play versus Bama?

If those three don't play in the Bama game because of Martin and Alleva, they need to find another job.

They really don't need counseling. They smoked synthetic marijuana. They didn't shoot up heroin. They weren't doing lines.

so your more worried about winning a game then building a good character in players?

if they should have been suspended more then two games but they are only suspended one, that tells them do what ever your want you'll play in all the big games.

From the way I understood it they didnt have to be suspended for all of the Auburn game. I could be wrong but i thought 3 quarters was the minimum suspension

They broke a University rule. They are subject to University discipline. Why wouldn't the Chancellor and AD be involved in the decision?

Yup. This is all PR to make LSU look compliant and like a good university instead of a football factory.

It wasn't an NCAA violation. It's a Les Miles violation...

How do we know what has happened, how many times it's happened?

They will be fine. Just don't screw up again

so as long as they don't F up again they should play the bama game.

and BTW this isn't directed to you just everyone who disagrees with me.

being able to play college football is a privilege not a right even if you are the best football player ever you still have to follow the laws that the NCAA puts forward, if you break them your privilege atleast for a time will be and should be revoked

Pretty sure they will play. Remember that Martin is the one bringing out the LSU beer.

There's no chancellor who could be more pro-sports than Mike Martin.

Trust me on this one... if the kids are in shape to play, they'll play.

You can trust Mike to be friendly to athletics.
