The "they haven't played anybody" excuse....

People here use this as an excuse as to why we will beat them....this year's bama team is no different than any other bama team the last 10 yrs....they will be good and hard to beat , it doesn't matter what crap u tell yourself to make an excuse to win Saturday, bama will expose every weakness we got, we will have to push thru it successfully on the field, oh wait because Joe blow on tiger droppings said on the rant they play a weak schedule so we gonna be up by 14 at halftime...lolol... we will need help to win Saturday from bama .... people here come up with all kinds of front runner reasons why we gonna win....bottom line is we need to stfu and stop with this madness and let the game play on the field...i do have to say I haven't seen this type of koolaid frickery ever... it's insane.. lol

I agree. The only good thing about them playing a weak schedule is that they haven't been in a real game yet. It will be interesting to see how they react on Saturday when they are in a 60 minute street fight.

Bama's 7 win streak has them overrated in some fans' minds. Don't forget we clearly outplayed them probably in 3 of those games and had 2 of them all but won late into the 4th quarter. We match up with Bama as good as anybody, but need to finish. A lot of the blame goes on Les Miles for having such an outdated vanilla offensive gameplan. He played right into their hands every time, and is the biggest reason he got fired- and deservedly so. He was rarely going to beat Bama because he was never going to change. This week will be tougher with the addition of Tua and subtraction of White, but its a winnable game. Death Valley will be at its finest.

They are being hailed as the greatest Bama team ever and Tua as the greatest QB ever. All people are saying is that their success is overstated because they haven’t payed anyone remotely good. A&M is by far their toughest opponent, and they are mediocre.

I don't think the "they haven't played anybody" excuse means we're "gonna be up by 14 at halftime", but I do think it means we have a better shot than the entire national media is giving us credit for. Plus, why go into this game with a timid "well, they're so much better than us, we're gonna need Jesus and handful of miracles to pull this one off" attitude?

I agree we aren't going to dominate Bama but they aren't going to put 28 points in the first half.
They haven't played a good D. Only Average Ds. They also haven't had to play into the 4th(doesn't mean they can't).
