I don’t think Woodward is going to be content with this. He has a birds nest on the ground with our baseball tradition and I don’t think he will think he can afford to wait it out. CPM needs to retire.

I thought the argument for most of the year was that there was talent, but Maineiri and the staff can't coach. Does it change inning to inning? Wasn't Henry supposed to be talented before tonight?

Henry’s pitching was very good. The problem was the error on Broussard and the blown pitchout. You give teams four outs and two free baserunners in an inning and baseball gets hard.

We had no ace to start the last 2 seasons, that was the first problem. I don’t care what your recruiting class is ranked, if you don’t have an ace on roster you aren’t #1 and you’re not going to Omaha.

I think people are sorta missing the point. One day, we have talent, according to some, but the coaching stinks. The next day, the talent isn't good. See what I'm saying?
