CJJ kept pounding the ball into Jordan Mickey who kept missing free throws until the lead was gone.

Always blame the coach, right? So he should stop doing the things that built a large lead. Mickey had an unfortunate string of missed free throws but if you self neutralize one player your offense becomes disjointed. But if they followed Coach Tiger Ugly's direction and quit going inside and jacked up a bunch of three pointers which missed and ended up losing I am sure you would blame Jones for that, too. A very good player had a bad stretch of five minutes of missed free throws. Its not coaching that lost this game, but so many of you simple minds love to bash the coach at every opportunity.

What fanbase? The super fickle one that never consistently packs the PMAC.... until they realize they might have a real good team after the first few games of SEC play?

Don’t forget Bo Rein, Head Coach who tragically died before ever coaching a game

And in football North Carolina State head coach accepted head coaching job at LSU. Never coached a game as he was killed in plane crash in offseason. RIP.

No- spineless AD got bullied by his Father in- law to self impose death penalty and get rid of the best thing the Basketball program had going in 15 years.

He didn't fire himself. If it were up to him he'd still be the HC at LSU.

LSU and the AD panicked. The IARP sanctions amounted to a whole lot of nothing. Even those directly levied on Wade. They freaked out about a guy (allegedly) cheating by paying recruits money to sign....in an era where a school now MUST pay players to sign.

McMahon has actually buried the program by taking it to a 3 year low not seen since the mid/late 90's. Luckily, all of us LSU fans get to experience the fun of constantly losing and being irrelevant by mid-January for at least one more year

Well, Mickey was just coming off injury and I absolutely thought the better option to have gone to, especially when the lead started shrinking was Martin, more so for the reason that Mickey was coming off the injury but when he started to miss multiple free throws I absolutely think it's fair to question repeatedly going to him.

Don’t forget North Carolina State blatantly ripped off Dan Borne’s poem in a hype video.

That's some great information.

Also, there have been a few football, baseball and basketball recruits (only than Tommy Tanks, though he was a transfer who attended both) with interesting recruiting stories who selected between LSU and NC State.

We will see if the hiring of Will Wade swings the balance closer
IF we were to play a Will Wade coached team, they will beat LSU’s dead program like a red headed stepchild

Former LSU head football coach, Mike Archer, was NC State's defensive coordinator 2007-2012.
