With all of that being said, what is your current feeling on the state of the LSU football program now and going into the future?

Many saw this incoherently speaking man as an incoherent thinker and decision maker for a while now. The trend is anything but favorable.

i'm not necessarily gonna disagree but, i would love for you to explain your theory on this one.

Not having the target on your back is a plus to me. Maybe I'm alone in that reasoning but I'd always rather be the underdog.

I think that this year and 2011 could be special years for LSU football..

the question is whether, or not, fans let the season play out, or whether they create big distractions by cranking up the pressure to very high levels.

what i can't understand is how fans don't realize just how many d1 q.b.'s out there that are considering transferring right now due to our situation.

Remember both of those QBs benefited from the coaching of Jimbo Fisher...questionable OC but great QB coach.

Don't you remember, Jimbo was blamed for every mistake made by the offense after Miles arrived. Many fans cheered when Fisher left. Now it's Crowton's fault.

common knowledge. nevermind.

NO-ONE WANTS TO COME TO LSU. WE WILL NOT HAVE A Q.B. FOR 2012. WE WILL RUN THE frickING NOTRE DAME BOX.

I think it is completely fair to question Miles and Crowton as to whether they can coach a QB to the level of JR or MF. Remember both of those QBs benefited from the coaching of Jimbo Fisher...questionable OC but great QB coach.

read comments by Green Bay coaches and you'll see that Flynn had little development in college. Also, comments made by the guy JR worked with pre-draft, who told him he'd have to learn to be a QB to make it in the NFL, and not just count on his arm to make plays.

I think this guy will be on scholarship, and will be getting his reps. with the 3rd team.

Former Baton Rouge-University High quarterback Barrett Bailey had several division 1-A football scholarship offers he could have accepted earlier this year, including a late plea by UAB, but he instead accepted the opportunity at LSU as a preferred walk-on.
