Obviously talk of the town. But wanted to point out some things about Daniels decision to transfer. 1) he had to be guaranteed snaps in the season. 2) why leave a starting QB spot to come be a backup 3) he had to have received some NIL money 4) Myles was plan A 5. Jaden is now plan A 6) BK owes nothing to Myles 7) he wasn’t some hot commodity 8) he could be a wildcard, could be a 2nd team type SEC QB 9) Jaden Daniels is either going to be the starter or they will run a two QB system

Do people really think Daniels will be the starter?

I think it’s possible. I think we can be good with Brennan or Daniels starting.

Depends on O-line play. Daniels may not be a great thrower, but his legs will make a lot of plays.

I think Brennan wins it though, but only a fool would think Daniels doesn’t have a chance.

The legs of QB's don't consistently makes plays in the Southeastern Conference.

Yes by all means lets ignore our great WR Corps with a QB that is not a "Great Thrower."

I seriously don't think many of "You People" on here are playing with a full deck.........

The downvotes to your post are laughable. OF COURSE Daniels was given reasonable guarantees that he would play at LSU.

There is no way he would have left a starting spot (even at ASU) to ride the pine here. I just can't believe Brennan stayed after Daniels transferred over. Myles clock is ticking down. He HAS to be the starter somewhere this year.

They will not run a true two QB system.

If Myles wins the job Daniels will have a package but Myles will be the guy taking majority of the snaps.

If Daniels wins the job then he will be the only guy.

yup. we need a guy who can first and foremost

1) be accurate

2) read a D and go through progressions regardless of number of reads

3( we can run RPO without a QB running. brennan has ran it before and nuss was real good at it in HS.

3) arm strength is an added bonus

4) ability to run is an added bonus

i mean shite we had wheels with mauck and flynn and burrow. burrow ran QB draws and zone reads and could scramble.

if daniels can do that great but if he is no threat to throw he will not be starter. we do not need another harris, jennings, etc.

Thanks, Mrs. Daniels. Your son MAY see snaps when we have a 35 point lead.

When I rewatched the Spring Game I saw how bad Daniels passing game is. If he is the starter then I will lose a lot of faith in this offensive staff.
The bad part was the bad throws were short ones... behind, low, high, etc.

How do u know? He obviously talked him out of transferring. Basically both qbs were in the portal and came to LSU once Kelly was named

Brennan has been at LSU for almost 6 years and still isn’t the run away starter against a guy most on here claim can’t pass in Daniels and a redshirt freshman who is careless with the ball. That’s all I need to see to know that Brennan is not the guy and never will be. Went 1-2 against bottom feeder SEC schools in the only three games he has managed to start in his career and people act like he’s a sure thing.

Post less please.

We were taking another qb in the portal no matter what. Even if Burrow was still here, if we only had 3 qbs another one would have been added in the portal.

We have an injured Boutte and several several unproven sophomores.

WR’s have a high ceiling, but you’re sunshine pumping by assuming they are going to be great

You also brought up our “strong” WR corps and ignored our horrendous unit from last year, the O-line.

If the O-line can protect, it’s Brennan easily. If they can’t, Brennan is toast.

Tim Tebow, Cam Newton, Johnny Manziel, Nick Marshall, jalen hurts, Emorey Jones, and all but the last one had great records with their teams.

Boutte would be healthy and is the best WR in college football
Bech is a stud
A host of highly recruited guys behind the top two.

Who else in the country has that in their WR room?

No one makes 9 points in conversation. That’s just obnoxious.
