This is absolutely ridiculous. Have you watched how awkward some of these QB slides are going feet first? Cleats get stuck in the ground, but more than that when you slide feet first you’re exposing your face and chest to a potentially vicious hit and, if that hit does occurs, you’re being whiplashed to the ground. The risk of serious injury is much greater sliding feet first. Just look at the Dante Moore situation. If he would have slid head first he almost surely would have stayed in the game.
