Dear lord y’all are insufferable...
The Tigers are #5, relevant, and has everyone talking! Just keep winning and the team will achieve its goals. In the meantime enjoy being 4-0!

I don’t understand this shite. Before the season we were doomed. Now that we are 4-0 people have the gall to say we aren’t top 5 worthy. Although we have as much talent as anyone outside of Bama and Elite defense and we beat two top teams.

Yet another complaining about complaining thread. At some point you’d think the comical level of the irony would kick in.... or the ability to grasp the concept of redundancy.

Who exactly is complaining about being ranked too high? If a few of our fans don't think we're a top-5 team right now, that's what they think. It isn't a big deal.

I am glad they are ranked #5. But based on what I saw yesterday they are not the 5th best team in the country. Our pass defense has holes in it and Burrow and the offense are inconsistent. The MAY be undefeated when we play Bama but Saban will have his way with this team.
I'be been following LSU since Billy Cannon and love LSU and Coach O but we are not there as of now.

Tiger fans remember what an elite team should look like.
we may be ranked 5th for now, but it seems temporary to me based on how we're playing and weakness of the team beating OL and inexperienced WRs.
2nd half of UM, horrible
SE La was terrible from start to finish
AU took some serious 4th QTr heroics to win and it was glorious... In spots we looked legit
La Tech, we looked like we might beat them 48-7 type game, then it got ugly...
I don't know, the team has potential, our WR are not getting enough separation and too many drops
The defense doesn't have the depth up front we need against the elite teams
the OL is weakest link of the team...though they played well against AU.
Giles needs to be benched. He just hasn't looked the part not once..
We need screen plays
Many times Burrow should keep the ball for nice gains, he hands off for 3 yard gain with the end wide open.
I think the problem with LSU fans is we see Alabama and we see a team we're not going to beat with TUA, we don't see anyone beating that team, that sucks to kind of know they are that good.
Could we beat Clemson, yeah maybe
Could we beat OSU ? probably not, Haskins looks all world
OU had an off night, they are solid team
Leaving LSU with the worst offense of the top 5 teams in the country...that's what I see... did you see Oregon last night? they are a very good team and lost because of two fumbles, they were about to roll STanford who is #7
LSU has solid d, great kicking game, average offense maybe...that's who we are right now...
so once we drop a couple of games, it will be what it will be.
I've always tried to positive around here, I consider myself a realist.. I will not allow myself to dream about a special season based on what I've seen. We're not there talent wise, depth wise...
That said, we're headed in the right direction
in conclusion, LSU fans know football, we know elite when we see it... we're not back to old form, not yet
