Here is a fact for you as Les Miles as head coach LSU has only lost one game to an out of conference opponent. and that team wasn't even in the PAC 12.
The only good thing you have going for you is that LSU has been or played the national champion for the last 5 years.

We don't just have speed at the skill spots. Our dline has a speed and then some. Jordan, Hanna, and Turner are all very fast ends. Remington and Hart are extremely fast for 280+ dlinemen. Bair ran the 4th fastest 40 time as a DT at the combine and Remington/Hart are very bit as fast as he was.
But you are not going to beat LSU's offense with speed. You can keep saying Bair ran the 4th fastest 40 time as a DT at the combine and that might be a useful tool against pac1 teams, but that wont matter playing LSU. He can't run around LSU's oline and you can bet your arse that LSU will be running the ball right down the middle.
On the flip side, oregon rarely just pounds the ball down the middle. Therefore LSU's defensive line (especially the ends) will need to have speed, which they do.
LSU and UO have basically completely opposite offensive philosophies, so to compare the same things about our defensives is pointless and stupid.
So you can keep saying how fast your dline is, it's not gonna help you when LSU is runnin up the gut play after play after play...

WHO CARES!!!
You Oregon fans act like we don't play against Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, etc., all of whom have BETTER O-lines that your precious Ducks.
It's borderline stupidity to continue making these comparisons. You struggled AND lost to a big, SLOW Ohio State offensive line. Seriously, no one is doubting the fact that Chip Kelly recruited bigger O-lineman, hell, he had no choice if he plans to keep up with the big boys. There are so many other factors that you have to consider other than size.
I find it very strange that you Oregon fans don't think we've played legit O-lineman before.
Please, stop this NONSENSE.

Oregon did better than LSU against those olines (Tenn and Auburn). Weak

The transitive property, using last years defenses is about as useful as tits on a boar hog.

Best we have to work with. The post I responded to was regarding LSUs play against o lines in the sec in the past

Execution is the key. LSU will without a doubt be the fastest and most physical defense the Ducks will see this season.. Oregon, however, doesn't try to maul opponents but tries to out finesse.. The key for the LSU defense will be to stay sound in their responsibilities.. On the zone read, the player or players responsible for the dive and QB better do their jobs.. Isn't this the staple of the Duck Offense??? I must admit that I'm not at all concerned about the passing game.. Against Auburn last season, we were out numbered in the box and Auburn took advantage.. The Auburn WR's did a good job of blocking our DB's on the speed sweep plays.. I expect a close ball game and a win for the Tigers!!!!

Dude speed is what's going to kill you, not size.

Last year Oregon's Defense was ranked 87th in the country against ranked opponents, and 77th against FBS teams with winning records. Y'all lost 6 great defensive players to graduation last year. You're not thinking straight if you honestly think this years defense is going to do better than last years. Replacing two starting LB's, three DL, and one CB(two now) is going to be hard, especially when the first game of the season isn't against a cupcake team.

ever stop to think size isn't the biggest factor? I honestly think our lines have more talent in the 2 deep than Oregon sees on the regular basis.

What people don't realize is our O/D iinemen are special because of their speed.......not their size. Our linemen are no bigger or smaller than most BCS schools.....its our speed that can't be matched.

That big slow tOSU dline fricked Arky's oline in the arse. If it weren't for the dline tOSU loses because the secondary was dropping like flies.
Heyward was a beast a wreaked havoc on that Arky oline.
tOSU dline is actually smaller and more athletic.
Some posters here are dumb as frick.

not to sound like and arse, but there isn't a differnce size but ther is a differnce in talent. well at least at the dl position. the sec is loaded with nfl caliber defensive lineman.

My post is about size differential. There was a bunch of people talking about how undersized the ducks are. My point is that you shouldn't just repeat the same old tired memes. Yes, LSU may very well be more talented in the trenches. However, we are not undersized. That is it. DO NOT READ MORE INTO THE POST.
I am predicting a low scoring game. At this point, I see it as a pick'em.

I think oregon's O will either be dominated or will dominate. I could see it being Oregon scoring 17 or less or lighting up LSU for 40. I don't think there's a middle ground.
