The SEC doesn't deserve to be in CFP this year.

We lost to Florida State, Alabama lost to Texas. Florida lost to Florida State. Georgia didn't play anyone out of conference. Tennessee didn't play anyone OOC. USCe didn't win their OOCs. It is what it is.

Alabama is the hottest team in the country right now and they lost their first game to texas. I hate to say it they don't deserve to be in the playoff.

Agreed this is the year the SEC is down as a whole compared to the rest of the conferences

That's why it's important to start the season with a big Win against a highly ranked team. It sets the stage. Texas hit it, otherwise they wouldn't be ranked where they are now. Start on a high note rather than a Nichols St. type team. Bryan Kelly doesn't seem to have the team prepared.
