yeah I haven't been anti-Alleva but him sitting idly by why the basketball team continues to suck has pissed me off. Trent doesn't deserve to be back next year

Yea, it's starting to aggravate me as well, I was okay with a crappy year (by okay I mean I expected it, our roster that year was shite and the APR situation didn't help), after that I've grown more and more unhappy.

I'd have been okay with next season if we hadn't tanked the end of the season

Yes. It is a reality. And, it is a problem.

I want the team to come back and if we don't win, he's gone. Why allow a team to form that has a realistic shot to make the tourney and make a little noise, if they are all really coming back, and fire the coach preceding that possibility? If they don't, we move on.

TJ was definitely a good hire at the time, but if you can't see that it's time to get rid of him, than you're an idiot.

Like clockwork.

Very true, I'm pretty indifferent at this point (which is sad b/c I've followed LSU Bball since I was 5 or 6).

Don't disagree with needing a change, but if you are saying that TJ wasn't considered a "quality coach" when he was hired then you are full of shite.

This is what is so ironic to me. At the time coach TJ was a great hire. Now people are saying make another great hire. Maybe some posters need to realize that LSU basketball lives and dies by the talent in LA. When the talent is great, LSU does well. The talent the last 4-5 years has been almost non existent.

And your response is absurd based on the rest of my thoughts. You've painted everyone who doesn't agree with you with a broad brush and labeled them "fair weather". It's very middle schoolish bro.

What would you like me to say about the second part? That I should absolve you of the fair weather status because you're really just being a "true" tiger fan by putting pressure on the AD through financial means? Yeah, dude, keep up the good fight. Bro.

Dude I really could care less what you label me. You've already more than proven you dont understand the true meaning of fan, support, or love of a university. Not to mention having no clue about me.

What I took away so far is that true fans don't support the team when the team is mediocre.

And yet you still call me arrogant because you know so much about me.

I love LSU, but just because I dont want to spend my hard earned money to watch a terrible product does not make me a fair weather fan. Im a huge fan of Samuel L Jackson but I didnt pay money to go see Snakes on a Plane. Start winning games and improving the product in the PMac and the crowd will be back.

If you only go to games when they are winning, then you most certainly are a fair weathered fan.

The problem is with leadership. Start at tHe top, Alleva needs to go. I actually used allevas lack of football knowledge as a reason we shouldnt just fire miles, i have no faith in him actually making a good hire if needed. I actually dong have faith in him to find us a bball coach either.

And again I ask (still haven't gotten a real answer): What in Alleva's tenure here says he should be fired?
