I understand your concerns, I'm mostly curious about the length he'd be willing to coach. If there's any truth to any of this in the first place, which I doubt.
Is he here for a few years and says so long and thanks for all the fish? I don't see him coming back and staying for more than a few years, is that enough? Would anyone be happy with that?

Saban coached Bama to a 12-2 (8-0 SEC) record and playoffs semifinal less than 2 years ago.
The idea of not wanting a 7 time national champion coach is insane. Apparently the rumors are $30m/yr for NIL as well.
I get that. However, he did retire. Why?

Saban wants to bitchslap Dabo for one last time in front of 100k drunk tigers?

I never got the sense that he loved Bama that much. Their fans and boosters aren’t like ours.

He is considering that offer seriously
You mean Mrs. Terry is considering the offer?

If it happened, he would win us another one. It would be the greatest story in sports and the greatest middle finger to Bama possible.

I don't see him coaching more than 5 years at the most. This just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe AD, but getting into the coaching/recruiting again in the NIL era?
I'd be stunned, but nothing should surprise me when it comes to LSU - Good or Bad.

Is there truth to the stories of him wanting to come back after Miami?

Regardless, that argument has little to do with fans not wanting him as head ball coach and 30/year in NIL.

Everyone in America knows they can’t announce it before bama game because it would have to be played on the soccer field while the stadium and perhaps the entire state burned to the ground.

Have no reason to disagree with your assertion
I will be very surprised if it isn't him as the next HC

I’ll be very surprised if it is him. Very surprised! In fact, so surprised, I won’t be let down if it’s not him.
