State and Ole Miss play next weekend, so that's a win-win situation. Ole Miss finishes at Arkansas, where they will surely lose at least two of three. If we can't catch Ole Miss, we don't deserve to go to Hoover. Plus, all we have to do is pull even with them (tiebreaker).
Catching State will be the key. Assuming things go as expected, the winner of the LSU - State series will likely be the last team to make it to Hoover.

All is doom.
EDIT: Had to go back and reverse the records for UGA-AUB after the Dawgs put up 9 runs in the top of the 9th.
EDIT2: Updated after Rebs win in the bottom of the 9th with a sac fly.

I think at this point we really just need Auburn & Miss. State to flame out the next couple weeks.

LSU needs to sweep Tenn. If they can't do that to the last place team in the SEC at home, then they don't deserve to anything in post season play.

That series doesn't really matter because we will likely be in 9th place anyway. If we finish tied for 8th with one of them, we would win the tiebreaker regardless assuming we beat MSU (which we have to). I think we finish 5-1, don't make it to Hoover, and make the regionals as a 3 seed.
