He's a man. He will be playing on Sunday. It was great see him re-integrated into the game plan. The "3D's are the best combo for the Tigers - Dural, Dupre and Diarse are the receivers that should be on the field for 3-receiver sets.

All they need is Harris to sling it to them.

Very good catch on the pass thrown behind him.

I am trying to figure out too why he disappeared after the first few games. I don't remember him dropping many if any passes. He also is by far the most physical runner after the catch. Those 3 do give us different skills which should allow us to spread the field on most any team

I dont know why people on this board are infatuated with diarse.

I want him to develop as much as anyone else......but i dont see that much upside. He csnt get off a jam...thats why he hasn't played. Imo

yes. Diarse is the physical and versatile receiver who can also be a possession type. Dupre is athletic and acrobatic and just plain special. Dural is a speedster to spread the field. How in the hell the coaches did not see this great complimentary grouping as the best all along is mind-baffling.

I absolutely love Diarse. Body of a tight end but skill of a WR

Wish we'd use him a heck of a lot more.

Unlike Trey Quinn, he wouldn't have dropped 3 passes against Alabama

I don't really get it either. He was benched for Quinn who has dropped a ton of passes all year. I guess the Bama game was the last straw. Good to see him back in the lineup.

He was never benched for Quinn. Quinn was the starter all year. Quinn was benched for Diarse.

Agreed. Honestly, it was Quinn's drops that let Diarse back on the field. If we get to more 3 WR sets next year, perhaps we'll see all 4 get lots of catches. They all bring a slightly different set of skills and talents. Quinn got the dropsies, but looked great early. Duval was only getting long balls thrown, now he's getting more possession type stuff thrown his way, and Dupre is becoming the deep out guy, Diarse and Quinn look to be the classic slot receivers and seem to be asked to run the more complicated routes.

None of LSU's receivers are good at getting off of jams. Your argument is stupid.

I would really like to see him run the jet sweep!

I was more impressed with his blocking downfield last night than anything. Both 8 and 83 missed several key blocks, but 9 was really locking up his man on running plays. The TE's are did a good job of blocking last night down field. That helped us get a lot more yards.

I could see him being a possession-type receiver because he's big enough to do damage after the catch. That catch and physical run after the catch during the Wisconsin game for the TD was one of the highlights of the season. He is still learning the position at this level, but he should be able to get enough separation by being physical in the future to make an impact.
