That’s just for starters. So mininum 4 new coaches just on Offense along with HC. Then players and a tougher schedule.

It could be worse before it’s better if they don’t get coaches who can properly evualuate & coach players. This group could somewhat recruit but no development/coach up players.

Yeah, that's pretty much a given.

Depending on who we hire and the timing of the hire, 2026 could be just a rebuild season. I think most fans know that.

It's the long-term that is most important, unless you get the Saban (lol).

Going to be a lot of changes, hopefully for the better. I do think our Oline will be better just through maturation, but we'll still need some portal help.

Things are different now. You can completely revamp a team in a single offseason with the right coach and portal additions. Oklahoma was 6-6 and couldn't complete a 15 yd pass last year... now they are likely headed to playoffs.

I just dont want it to be a reoccurring thing where LSU is leaning on portal classes every season. I hope the next HC gets back to developing our High School talent.

Agree on the right HC and portal players. Need to hire the right HC ASAP . The issue is if they are truly trying to get kiffin then it probably will be after ESD and depending on playoffs could be after the portal.

whole new OL

I'd very much like to keep the guys we have, even some of tRant's favorite whipping boys.

That said, it won't happen, so hopefully we at least keep Braelin Moore and a handful of the promising youngins (Curne, Solomon Thomas, Echols, Ory).

What's Rick Trickett uo to these days?

The OL has talent. Move curne to guard , get Solomon Thomas healthy, Echols keep developing and we’re at a good spot inside. Gotta figure out tackle, I’ve liked what I’ve seen from ory Williams he needs more run, gotta do everything you can to keep Martinez in the class he’s the best athlete at tackle in the entire 26 class as a whole gotta get him to stay in the class. Maybe Weston can grow with better coaching but he’s just been so abysmal this year idk. We should get Adams back for another year too so the cup isn’t bare on the OL

Agree with this. Ory has been decent and could develop. Curne will be an excellent guard. Echols will continue to develop. If you get Thomas healthy, you have the makings of a good OL. We will need another center out of the portal

Wholeheartedly agree. Center is the one area where theirs simply a glaring lack of bodies need to get another guy even if Moore comes back. Curne’s nastiness and skillset is a match Made in heaven st guard unfortunately injuries have forced us to put that kid at tackle

True ... but there will be a lot of moving parts with all of the coaching changes. Each team with a departing coach will have a 30-day window for players to leave. So theres going to be a lot of signings after ESD.

Roster preservation is a big reason why I think a lot of in-season firings happened a month before the season ended. Waiting to fire in late November is no longer a good idea.

Our best OL next year is Adams Curne Moore FA FA.

But to be honest, our young guys will be much better in a year. Our OL is young.

That things will be worse before getting better or may not get better for a while
