But the main reason is Mrs O left him right after the 2019 NC game. She saw the writing on the wall...she was the real lucky charm

My wife makes sure to remind me of this after every game.

He got lucky and caught lightning in a bottle in 2019. Even Les Miles could have won that championship

Because he is a text book example of the Peter Principle.

Promoted to the level of incompetence!

You can stop at #1. Outside of Burrow he was just subsisting off of Miles's recruits. Without Burrow and with 100% of his own recuits, this is what you get.

As much hate as O is getting, still can’t deny that Orgeron succeeded at LSU. The man won a national championship. No matter what people call it “lightning in a bottle”, he still did it. UGA is still chasing another champions ship since 1980. A&M is paying out the arse for Jimbo.

I agree it’s time to go, but we can’t say the Orgeron years were a failure

The real reason LSU is struggling is that the coaches are not experienced and adept enough at putting a product on the field. O's recent O and D hiring's were third and fourth choices because no top candidate would take the job and LSU now is reaping the rewards of an offense who can't get a play off in the allotted time and a defense who can't tackle or stay in their assigned positions.

Recruiting them is one thing
Keeping them healthy, off dope, classes, ect is another

But I’m just a fan
What do I know ... you people are the pros
It’s a shame they don’t have TD LSU football job applications , Tons of qualified kids here

Getting to the TOP is hard, but staying at the TOP harder, only Saban is the one to have mastered it, Dabo somewhat but Lawrence gone looks to be his kryptonite, Jimbo lost Winston, CUM stayed at the top but ran off the road. It’s tough and O couldn’t handle no matter how each one gets there, no one stays there except Saban, even Belichek is faltering without Brady. The old saying even a blind squirrel finds a nut, well most blind squirrels it seems only find one and choke to death eating it.
