Other than hitting a HR, how else do you score a run without actually getting on base?
The guy with 5 XBH all year? 2 of which were tonight. This is the option you are hanging your hat on?

Jake has been hitting in bad luck a lot this season. A lot of caught line drives, a lot of hard hit at 'em balls. He had another caught line drive tonight. He's hit the ball hard consistently.
I say play him and see of his luck turns. It usually does eventually.

For real, just need him to be consistent. Stringing a good weekend together like this every 2 months won’t work. He’s accumulated a seasons worth of stats in 5 games
