I was at a financial conference in Keystone last summer and had an LSU coozie on my beer. I sat down at a table with several pension administrators and fund managers from around the country.

One of the guys at the table saw my coozie and asked if I had heard of the Tiger Pimp Nation.

To my surprise, several of the guys (I say guys--these are professionals anywhere from 30 to 60) had heard of/seen them. We pulled up their website on an Iphone and had a great conversation about how hilarious and original they are, and how LSU fans truly are unique, fun, and know how to do it up right. The conversation naturally turned to the magic of Tiger Stadium, the rivalries in the SEC, and of course the food at the tailgate parties.

So cheers to you, Pimps, you gave me a great conversation piece and actually assisted me in building some solid client relationships.

Oh--I'm forty and I see nothing wrong with getting attention for acting a'fool. It's fun. Why take things so seriously?

as I just said, I see lots of things that people do at football gamedays that I wouldnt do.

When you have that many people together in one spot you are going to get all sorts of idiots.
I dont wear jorts.
I dont wear muscle shirts.
I dont wear gold chains or an earring.
I dont wear crocks.
I dont have a mullet.
I dont put a tiger tail in the back of my pants.
I dont paint my face like to look like a kitten.
I also chose not to dress like a clown.

But once again, to each is own.
Keep it up though, after about 12 beers it provides solid entertainment.

All the while the dude in the pimp costume is prob 30-40 and for some reason the same ones that find the cow boy annoying give this geek a pass and think its hilarious
I didn't know there was an age limit to having fun. It sounds like a bunch of jealousy on this thread. People hating on the pimps having a good time with all the women at the games while the haters stand around watching and wishing it was them. My mardi-gras organization has a pimp party every year and it is a harder ticket to get than the actual mardi-gras ball after the parade. It's a costume party at a tailgate. That's all....

Then why are so many complaining about the "attention" they get. Go to the website and take a look....the attention isn't from men. So yea, men get jealous when a group of other men get lots of attention from attractive women.

actually it doesn't. it makes us look like our fans know how to loosen up and have a good time, as mentioned before.

Yet you have no problem telling BT, something is wrong with his attitude as a fan if he doesn't think the Pimps are appropriate? Ironic.

pimp suits are the most overplayed costumes in the history of costumes.

its like they all sat around one day tryin come up with a cool gameday getup and couldn't think of anything so they just said "frick it. we'll just be pimps."

and fwiw i meet one of those dudes back in the day. guy with the top hat and crown royal pants. giant douche

Racists? You can make fun of the outfits or whatever, but don't dare make comments about me personally. You don't know me.
