the booing was really all on one kid honestly. It was quite apparent JJ took 99.9% of them.

I hate that he is getting the brunt of the frustration, but being a QB is the strongest conference in collegefootball carries some risks.

Besides, these kids are not in Pee Wee football, when they come to LSU they know it's big business......especially after 3 years.

Just sayin'.
This is what I don't get. We try to protect these players and call them kids, and they are men. Men the same age as these players go to war and defend our country, but these so called "kids" we should defend and protect?

So how did that make you feel? Did that in some way empower you? Did you change things? Did that make you feel like you were contributing something positive?
I'm truly intersted in the psychology of this.

Miles would've never put Lee in for that series if there were no boos, so yes it did change things IMO.

Damn right I booed every time we ran the option and every time we threw the ball sideways. How many times do we have to run those plays before the staff realizes they won't work.

How else would you like the fans to express their displeasure with < 100 passing yards every game?

EricB was likely not a fan until 2004.

Booing your own team is stupid and harmful for recruiting.

If you actually knew anything about football you would realize that we ran the speed option 4-5 times for about 25 yards...thats five yards a pop. And last week we scored on it....

I'm asking too much of the rant...

what is doom and gloom about pointing out the fact that our offense is playing terribly, as evidenced by the fact that we are now #115 in the nation in passing offense?

i think you are making the mistake of painting the "offense sucks" threads with the same "doom and gloom" brush...

and as far as the "booing the university" comment, yeah, that's a bit far fetched don't you think??? i mean, no one, when they are booing after JJ underthrows a wide open receiver, is booing the Journalism Department... again, you are painting with the same broad brush, and it's not applicable....

yes, we're 4-0, that's great.... but really, have you seen anything from the OFFENSE that leads you to believe we can compete with the Bama's, Auburn's, and Arkansas's this season? that's is why people are concerned... sure they are happy we are 4-0, but when you think about the upcoming inevitable meetings LSU has, there really isn't any reason for optimism at this point....

the offense is REGRESSING as the season is going along, not PROGRESSING as they should be... they look more and more lost with each play, while our upcoming opponents look to be solidifying their attacks week in and week out....

OK, sounds like you know something about football. What's your feelings on the LSU offense output so far this season?

You're analogy is ridiculous. There is a middle ground that is a path less taken...its called having CLASS.

You people are embarrassing
There isnt much class in the student section chanting you suck. Thats embarasment.

I'm very displeased, we need to change something on offense. But I would never boo an amateur athlete...much less my alma mater.

I've been an LSU fan since I started taking an interest in football, when I was in 5th grade, around 1993-94ish.

Last time we saw boo's like this was in 2008, LSU had the #1 recruiting class in the country on 2/3 scout sites in 2009. So, umm. Bad argument there dude.

As far as all of the anti boo remarks. I use to believe in these ideals of "class" and "honor" and being good fans, but what have we learned from this in college football? How many season's did Nebraska steal AP national championships from Penn State because Joe Paterno would put in his 3rd string in the 3rd quarter and kneel the ball at the opposing 1 yard line. How many times are we led to believe false information because we have this traditional conservative respect for people who are older than us so we shouldn't question things they tell us? One thing i've learned is that this whole "honor" ideology does nothing but hold people back. I'm glad our fans booed, because it's one of the few instances these days when the people who are paying for these tickets, shirts and responsible for the millions that LSU atheletics makes a year gets their rightful input. This has nothing to do with the atheletes. I will say this though, Les has two choices right now and one of them involves giving the fans what they want, which might even be a win-win if it leads to a productive offense. Shame he'll never be able to surpress his ego enough to do that. Or do i need to remind you of how JJ started only because JL got hurt in 2008 when ppl were crying for JL.

How did you come to this conclusion? Is it that there is obviously no classless frustrated idiots in the student section?

Would bet few of them have ever played competitive.....anything. Don't give a shite if they are booing Miles, the players have no clue what is in their head. There is absolutely no positive outcomes of booing, with the possible exception of some Sunday armchair QB's can brag to their friends.
