no one is "booing LSU"... all this sunshine pumping is getting old... booing is the way that some fans choose to outlet their frustrations, and you know what, they paid just as much for the tickets as anyone else, and just like anyone else, like it or not, they have the right to say what the hell they want too....

i can promise you every single one of the people booing bleed purple and gold just as much as those not booing... difference is they reached the boiling point of frustration and they choose to outlet that as a "boo".... same as when someone else says "frick" as an expression... i don't like the word, but that's the word they choose to express their emotion... right or wrong, that's their expression of discontentment...

it's all fine as long as the outlet of emotion is cheering, but if the opposite emotion is exuded, then that's wrong?

90% of the booing was coming from the student section, so i would say that most of them have in fact attended a class at LSU. just saying.

I understand that you pay "good money" to sit your arse in those seats...but you also pay good money for a steak at a nice restaurant....if you order the steak medium rare and it comes out medium, do you stand up, look at the waiter and lash out on him so the entire restaurant can hear you?

do you?

because if you do, you're just that type of person...pure trash.

I think that Booing is not called for, since it always follows a bad play by the players themselves. They don't know if you're booing them or the coaches. If you want to make a statement stay home. Don't give your tickets to anyone or sell them. If enough people do that then the A.D. will get the message and make a change. Booing hurts the players and recruiting, staying home hurts the concession sells and attendance records. Which do you think is more effective in the long run?

well next time could you be more specific sir and make sure you tell the amateur athletes that it is not directed towards them.

F@#k you.

No shite, because the players are complete idiots. These players need to know, that no matter what happens, they're good enough, they're smart enough, and doggonit people like them.

I had a pledge brother (worthless dude) who consistently booed Matt Mauck and said that he would never win anything at LSU. HE WAS COSTING US OUR SEASON!!!

CAN YOU ACT BETTER THAN AN 19 YEAR OLD DRUNK arse? CAN YOU?

I am not a big fan of booing college players but they get a free education out of the gig so they can learn to handle it.

but the coaches must get a good boo when they are being knuckleheads. i mean come on. miles makes a few million dollars and can handle the boo birds. J Lee may not be the solution but lets try it. booing is our way of communicating to the coach. BOO scary foot doctor. HOORAY for beer

After Jefferson's 2nd round of ignorant comments in Todays newspaper articles I could care a less if he is the target of the boos. People drilled me on this board previously for making Aaron Brooks references... yet...

"I'm not frustrated; we're 4-0," he said. "What do I have to be frustrated about.
"I really didn't (hear the boos). I have thick skin. I'm not worried about what any critics say. I'm not worried about what any fans say. I'm not worried about...."

No thanks, I'll take a qb who isn't living in never never land. Give me Lee, atleast he showed disapointment in his performance and kept his mouth shut when it came to making excuses.

Pick your poison.

Jefferson was not even supposed to get an offer from LSU but did because of the Perrilloux situation. I hate the offense....HATE THE OFFENSE. but you will never see me boo my university.

That's evident. Lee was effed up in the head, he's two years older now. Les miles must have read up on Dinardo's last year here at LSU and is trying to mimic it, except PP is winning games for him. Either way, JJ = Booty, history repeats itself.
