Does anyone in good faith truly believe that it's fair or right that as to the 2022 football class that they should not be given an opportunity to get a 5th year (which they did not have the right to have) at the time they declared for the NFL? We are talking about a limited number of 2022 athletes to be treated the same as their peers in say the 2023 class.

For goodness sake, every AD in the SEC, Big 10, ACC, Big12 have no problem paying 7 figures for one season for an athlete to play football (oh, sorry I meant for his NIL), which I am good with as a supporter of the free market.
However, some sacred rubicon has now been crossed to the Finebaums of the world when the class of 2022 can actually get a 5th year?

They let the money in and now they want to control who gets it. That is all.

At the end of the day these players for lsu will get paid either way. Just depends if it’s from LSU or the NCAA in damages.

For the “holier than thou” ADs and Coaches that are claiming they agree not to bring any of these players in, just remember that Biden would never pardon his son Hunter.

The media also ran with that lie hook, line and sinker.

Additionally, these players had 4 years while some are getting 6 and 7 years. I have a much bigger problem with that.

Indiana played last year with 47 players on their roster older than these guys !!

I’d like to point out that no one complained when Ole Miss’ QB, who was ruled ineligible by the NCAA to play this year, was allowed to play anyway because a Mississippi judge (who CERTAINLY didn’t have any conflict of interest in making the ruling) decided that he could anyway.

Pat Forde has probably changed his underwear 20 times today with LSU being front and center with this.
