Imagine it’s the mid 80s, Skip has the baseball program on the rise and idiots like you would be saying “this is a football and basketball school, nobody cares about baseball”. But you’re too dumb to look past your own nose

The only truth here is that you aren’t an LSU fan. You like baseball, we happen to be a good baseball program and a lot of the people you know are fans so you decided to become an LSU “fan”. You’re peripheral, LSU is convenient for you but you’re not a real LSU fan.

lol the baseball nerds that make themselves feel good by constantly saying “ bouncy ball “ , and other weird stuff to put down basketball is so odd . Most of us basketball people also love baseball and realize we can be good in both lol

You’re acting like there’s some kind of magic portal where teams can find transfers to fill holes and field competitive teams. McMahon had zero players on scholarship for a couple weeks 3 years ago. It was always going to be a 4 year rebuild (unless there’s an injury next season in which case year 4 doesn’t count and I meant 5 year rebuild).

I don't give two shits about mens basketball (I used too love it immensely), but when only five players are on the court at one time, it surely doesn't take long to correct talent deficiencies. Recruiting and the portal especially in the age of NIL...

Ahh. So he's the only lsu men's basketball coach in the last 40 years to not Bring an LSU TEAM team to the NCAA tournament. So Dale Brown, John Brady, Trent Johnson, Johnny Jones and Will Wade. All of them were at LSU more than three years. Not all of them went on their first year or their second year. I will agree though after three years we haven't seen enough improvement to say that he will bring us.

In Louisiana, sure I'll agree. But if you really think Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, Baylor, Virginia, UNC, etc. fans care more about baseball than basketball than you are just living within your LSU bubble. I mean, Florida won the CWS and they can't get 1000 people at the ball park
