Think they were loaded the first three innings

First 3 innings...even worse. I do think our offense is due for a big game offensively. They are just too good to keep doing this game after game. Someone at the bottom of the order needs to come up big.
Would love to see Jobert, Pearson, (Travinski if he is in the lineup) or Thompson have a big hit to drive people in to capture some momentum. Cannot keep relying on the guys at the top 5 spots in the lineup to come through they need help.

They’ve done it most games this season. This isn’t a CWS thing.

Thank you Captain Obvious

Are they, though? Aside from a select few, I’d argue they aren’t.

You don't lead the nation in runs with being bad at scoring runs...we were 60% successful heading into the CWS in getting the run from 3rd with less than 2 outs...so yes we are too good to continue stranding these runs game after game. We lead the country in on base % we are going to leave some runners on but the amount we have left lately is a lot more than usual for this team. Jesus

Absolutely right! We have got to pick some of these guys up when they get on base! Doesn't matter what happened yesterday or the whole season, what matters is tonight! The offense has got to jump on it! You've been one of the best in the country all year, tonight is it! Go out and frickin rake!

We’ve been doing it for the whole year.

LEAVE RUNNERS ON BASE!!!
15 or however many yesterday and the bases loaded the first two innings today.
That's indefensible and btw I lost count at 19 and I know it was more than that.

But what is UF batting avg for the series, if we throw out everything after the fourth inning yesterday?
My guess is its worse than ours.

Per Hanagriff, 66 left thru yesterday

We have left runners on base all season. It’s just a weakness of this team. But they are still playing for an NC. They can overcome it.

I'd rather be where we are with this, instead of having been 2-hit the past couple days. Keep getting runners on, and if NOTHING else you're grinding away at their pitchers. And sooner or later, keep doing it and we're going to break through.

People were screaming about all the runners we left on base, instead of recognizing that we kept getting on almost continuously against the Gators.
They never shut our offense down even with their better pitchers, they were just able to get out of jams relatively unscathed. I felt at the time that they were playing with fire, and sooner or later we would explode on them. And as we saw, it caught up with them.
