Could the WR got in front of the DB since Sam was rolling out the help him? I feel like Jefferson would have and made him look like a boss, in my humble opinion

I wonder if Leavitt was trying to throw it deeper and just didn't get enough on it. Watkins had nothing but space behind him and the safety was flat footed and was watching the QB.

Sam in the postgame straight up said he didn’t see that DB. I like that being the mistake rather than him seeing that guy and thinking he can fit in a throw. He had Winnie if he throws it up field over that defender, or he has Harris if he’s looking back towards the middle.
