DB Ricky Jean-Francois had it right when he said about Appalachian State, "we aren't looking down on them; we're looking up to them," since the offensive line of App. State will be the largest and fastest offensive line he will face all season and he WILL be "looking up to them" from the turf. App State 34 LSU 20

Say what - App State has the largest and fastest offensive line LSU will face this season and behind them is a possible Heisman winner who runs a 4.3 40 App State 34 LSU 20

Well...if you do throw them outside...is there any way your fans could NOT throw them at the band as we walk by...
I don't think your fans are classless enough to do that, but they could really do some damage to those instruments and the uniforms...
This may sound stupid, but there will be thousands of dollars there and somebody would have to pay for it...

dude, chill the frick out....no one is going to throw a 'urine bomb' at you.....i've been going to LSU games for over 20 years and have never seen anything like this, or anything even close.

Okay..excuse me for being precautious about our instruments. Mine costs about $2000.
I have heard people say that do throw urine bags, and I've heard people say they don't.
What I put was a little "disclaimer" type thing. I've never been down there so how do I know what to except?

yeah - well when LSU looses we shall see who is more largely affected. Seems when Michigan lost last year, they lost a game or 2 after

i think the only thing lsu and app state can agree about is that we are both stereotyped as inbred hillbillies too much

You are right, LSU is not Michigan.
Michigan was ranked 5. LSU is 6th and 7th in the Coaches and AP polls respectively.
Michigan had
1. A well-seasoned 4-year starting QB in Chad Henne
2. A proven returning workhorse RB Mike Hart, running behind the No. 1 player in the country at OL (Oh yeah! Jake Long did go 1st in the NFL draft...he must really suck)
3. SUPER Mario Manningham - a college reincarnation of Randy Moss (I've seen them both play against ASU in college, by the way...we Beat Marshall, and RM by association too)
What does LSU have - Nothing Quite as Good.
1. A QB controversy with no definitive choice at starter. None of them have the experience that Henne did, and likely none of them will be better "in this game" (maybe in their career) than Henne would have been. Also, none of them are as good as Armanti PERIOD.
2. A RB who took comprised less than 1/4 of the running plays and gained maybe 400 yards ?
3. Your top returning WR - Ok he led your team in catches, but had 4 TD's all season. Not quite super Mario numbers. (Lets see he had almost 800 yards and 9 TD's in 2006 - the year before the ASU game - and by the way, he missed several games while having knee surgery.
So I'm going to go ahead and stick by my statement that Michigan last year will be better than LSU this year, and that ASU will play you much better than anyone in Tiger Stadium (even ASU Fans).
ASU 31 - LSU 21

only my second post on this forum, but i check it out frequently. seems some App fans are over the top to say the least. can not wait to get down to BR from Boone and see some football. thanks for having us, the rest of NC (read ACC) seems to be too afraid. hope we can hang tough and come away without serious injuries, and we really do have nothing to lose and everything to gain. BTW i'm bringing the moonshine so let's get the party started!
