correct. Teams in the losers bracket must win 3 more games to advance. Vandy and UVA only need one more win to advance. Losing on the first day of the CWS puts you in a giant hole, not to mention having to burn through your pitching staff. Believe Vandy and UVA both have 3 days till their next game, giving them an even bigger advantage. However, with the lack of offensive potential in TDA, it may not even matter. That kid who pitched for Texas Tech yesterday was making his 5th appearance of the season yet limited Ole Miss to 3 hits.
