When I started to put my list together, I finally had a better understanding of exactly how pollsters feel. It isn't as easy as it looks once you get out of the top ten. It starts to take on a path of its own.
As far as my votes, I won't lie. I didn't vote LSU #1 because I think both LSU and UNC are the top two teams in the country and I wouldn't want to fault UNC for losing to Clemson last week mainly because if LSU drops a game in Arky, I wouldn't want polls to drop us to the point of extinction.
Bottom line, LSU and UNC are 1 and 2. Flip it either way, both teams are the best with Vandy right behind.

the only problem is that images aren't google friendly. someone searching for a college baseball poll could stumble on this one with the current format

Name the image baseball poll or whatever so it is in the URL? Does that make it show on google?

oddly more difficult than believed and rewarding when it was done (I took this real seriously)
While I put LSU 1 after studying LSU's, UNC's and Vandy's strength of schedules... I really think the 3 are interchangable at this point in the season
my determining factor was the fact that LSU and Vandy only had 1 conference loss while UNC now has 2

My determining factor for putting LSU #1 is track record. Plus NC plays in the ACC.
