How is it possible that an O-line of juniors and seniors doesn’t improve from year to year? Burrow and Clyde obviously masked how bad these guys are, but I still can’t understand how there is no improvement. It blows my fricking mind that they can’t handle McNeese States defensive line. I really hope that Woody pulls the trigger and runs Orgeron out of town.I’m sure that we will lose recruits and players , but this cannot continue. This program is screwed for the foreseeable future!

Big drop off from Sahdiq, Cush, and D Lew to Shanahan, Wire, and Hines. Recruiting and development has been god awful.

It can’t and it won’t. If McNeese can get pressure with 4 linemen, we don’t stand a chance in SEC play.

I mean We’ve essentially watched 2 different OL.

What’s pathetic is how bad our backups are.

It’s like we haven’t developed an OL after the 2017 class

Maybe MSU was tired but the subs that played the second half looked better than the starters. Hill and Martinez were in. Turner at C.

Shanahan shouldn’t even be on this team.

We might be better off with a set of those robot tackling dummies.

There are things you can do to help, sliding protection, send te in motion and chip block the de, wr hot routes. But the qb has to diagnose and know where the pressure is coming from. We haven’t done a good job at any of this. One thing I’ve noticed is our wr have really struggled run blocking as well….One reason why we are struggling to run outside the tackles…

The majority of the O line starters were out last night. However, it doesn’t speak well to having solid depth. Hunt was going off about this during the post game show.

i agree. they're just bad and easy to tell they've been lazy in the weight room.

this is a lazy team overall. most players look like they're just coasting along with a car salesman catering to their vanity.

we have an entitled sjw team.

may end up as bad as 4-8 or 5-7.

just hope everyone gives the new coach a year to rebuild the culture.

Worst offensive line I have ever seen at LSU, maybe the worst offensive line ever. It usually cycles every 4 years, but I don't think it will this time.

Pretty sure Hill started and Martinez played most of the game. They probably got better as they got acclimated to actually playing.

Turner at C.

Every other snap was an adventure with him. Crazy that it’s still like that.

Martinez had a very shaky start. First play was a pretty bad whiff. After he settled he did very well. Hill... less impressive. Put it this way, I wouldn't bench Hill but I would start Martinez.

Saw that coming. He's not a C. Period. His time at OT against UCLA was quite bad also. We do not have an answer at C. Dumervil/Dellinger need to see time over Turner. They might not do much better at this point in time... but there's some upside.

Kardell Thomas finally got in a game last night and he looks like a Sumo wrestler.

Fortunately we get a day 1 starter at LT next August. One less spot to fill. Dellinger looks like a beast, 2 less spots to fill. You return your RG, 3 less spots to fill. Get a transfer center and LG and we are back to a solid OL.

You are assuming a lot. Many of these five star linemen do not pan out.

Unless he’s on campus right now, I would not count on anything.

This recruiting class can still fall apart and don’t be surprised that once O knows for sure he’s out that he torpedoes the class just to f LSU over.
