4-7 is his record against ranked teams while at LSU if I am remembering correctly. That’s enough there to realize he’s underperforming.

I would say let's look at who was favored in those 11 games before I call it underperforming.

For example losing to Georgia in the SEC title game - not underperforming. Losing to a Florida State team that would go undefeated that year, not underperforming. Losing to USC - underperforming.

Let's lay all 11 out there and look at them one by one and see. It's not like he took over what Les did and had the better team every game he played but maybe Bama a few times. It's all relative.

If you’re gonna try using big words, try spelling them correctly

Except Wiegman was always bad while Nuss showed he can carry a team last year with no run game even with his flaws.

Weigman was 8-4 as a starter at A&M with a ~135 passer rating when he was benched for Reed. (2 of those losses were 3 point losses to Ole Miss and Auburn as a true freshman).

Nuss's career passer rating is ~139; and he was 10-4 as a starter coming into this season.

Except for the fact that MVB isn’t a runner

Carry the team? Lucky we were not 6-6 last season.

And there is a path to 6-6 this year…I just hope we don’t take it !

Well, a great coach often wins games he "should not win" and rarely loses a game "he should win". Right?
