Why would a dark purple or any other dark colored shirt be a good idea on a hot sunny afternoon at a tailgate or in Tiger Stadium. Does that shirt somehow defy the laws of physics?

Also ridiculously uncomfortable and not nearly as breathable as Poncho's. The two aren't comparable. Ponchos are really nice.
