Nah- it will blow over. A good recruiting class will make it blow over quicker.

The amount of money I have spent on this team...going back to when I was a student and living in Hatcher...we are owed an explanation. Why did Lee not get a shot at winning the game? I can ask this because Mike woke my arse up every morning at 6AM. I deserve an answer. I spent many nights in the tunnels and in Tiger Stadium. ( The gate across from the police station opened up just enough to slip under) Took me 7 years to graduate. I want to know.

I agree with you that it would help the fan base and probably potential recruits if Miles spoke publicly.

Only problem is that I can never figure out what Mile$ is saying when he does speak in public. It always seems to me to be a mixture of gibberish followed by gibberish. It IS fun to watch, though.

he didn't say shite that made sense.

.....and this makes no sense to you?

I can tell you that we did consider Jarrett Lee. But we felt like with the pass rush that we were getting that we needed a guy that could move his feet and not sustain that pass rush

quote:

Lee gets sacked WAY fricking less than JJ did. So that was a bullshite response. He can say Lee doesn't handle pressure, but neither does JJ.

Unfortunately Lee's inability to handle pressure results in turnovers and Jeffersons results in sacks. Lesser of 2 evils.

What could it have hurt to put him in? Maybe he throws a pick. Guess what? He's throwing it. Probably downfield. And we weren't churning up the yards anyways.

Though I would LIKE an answer,If Miles is really worried about what we on here think, He should find another job. FACT.

Miles shouldn't worry about what we individually think. HOWEVER, he most certainly should recognize that many of the "fans" who he is disregarding are also PARENTS of potential recruits.

In other words, his real problem is that the longer this festers, the more recruits will wonder what the frick the matter with him is.

This could be a problem. ESP after he has recruited so well in the last few years.

Yep....Lee is very good at hitting the open receiver downfield

.....when he has enough time to let the play develop

Will the Bayou Bash be well attended this year based upon what has happened in the last couple of weeks. i.e. Loss of collins to big rivalry and loss to rivalry team? Not hijacking the thread just referring to the poster above.

No one is saying that he would have been the magic man out there. Definitely not taking away from Bama's defense. But you have to try something different. When the opposing D coordinator is scratching his head as to why JJ is still in there, then the switch probably should have been made.

I hear ya......and can't say I completely disagree. But I can imagine the thought going through Les's head was that things could have also gotten much worse by inserting Lee.

And then we'd be hearing about how Les should have never pulled Lee as the starter in November and how he just threw him to the wolves with LSU down 2 scores and Bama just teeing off.

Whoa. Let's not go there. Let's just say that Miles is wrong on principle regardless of the wins or losses.
