Just thought I throw this out there for the frick of it. If it plays out, this could be the most anticipated College Football match-up in the history of the sport. I know throughout history there have been many classics. The list is too long. But if the scenario plays out and both are undefeated, I throw it out as #1.

Last year was pretty damn hyped. Both teams were undefeated with a battle between 1 and 2. Not to mention the fact that we both had byes before the game so it built and built for two weeks straight

USC will have to lose their #1 ranking that they don't deserve.

It'll be built up huge. But, if Bama loses, it'll merely be a prelude to the inevitable Mulligan Bowl hype.

Not to take away anything from that match-up, as it will likely be the best and most important game of the year. It may not even be the most hyped game of the week. ESPN will be creaming in the pants if Oregon and USC are both undefeated. With all the media presence in L.A., we may not have a shot. Which is fine with me, let them have their arena type game, and I will watch good old fashioned hard-nosed football

eventually if you go too far enough east, you get to the west.

The hype is going to be annoying. The annoyance will transcend sports and sports fans.

Root for Stanford on 9/15 then. If we play at night, we can get absolutely no hype up and I won't shed a tear.

It won't bother me one way or another what type of hype the national media gives us. We have 2 weeks to prepare. They have one, and it will be Saturday night in Death Valley

Glad we don't play in the OOC. I would like a shot at the end of the year.

The fact that the result of last year's game had absolutely no bearing on the post season means that any hype for this year's game means absolutely nothing.

LSU wins=oops, did not count.
Bama wins=ho hum. Bring on USCw

A lot has to happen. But the curiosity factor nationwide on how LSU responds after that debacle last year will trump Oregon vs USC, especially if our offensive stats are vastly improved with Mett. ESPN can hype that other game all they want.

I am thinking it is likely Bama will slip up before 11/3. That would be unfortunate, but that is what I think. It will take a tad of the significance off the game, but it will still be on national tv on Sat night in Tiger Stadium, with some hungry Tigers ready to take it out on the Tide, so it will still be a great atmosphere.
