Chambliss is ineligible under both scenarios.....doesn't qualify for 5/5 AND still is denied a redshirt waiver by the NCAA.....but we are picking and choosing punishments

New Age based rules actually cannot be applied to anyone who exhausted eligibility after the 2025-2026 seasons under the then existing rules. Student athletes with eligibility remaining after 2025-2026 and new incoming ones this fall can apply old or new whichever is most beneficial. Age based rules only start for incoming freshmen classes for 2027.

that was a medical RS. not the same. i get it was complete and utter BS tho.
But the SEC and ncaa apparently want to play hardball with LSU. Idk why. Supposedly because the guys we’re getting signed actual pro contracts. IMO it’s because we are the face of the movement and they want to set an example. I don’t know for sure, but it’s my only guess.
