I challenge anyone to find a HS team that looked worse-coached than LSU did at the end of the 2009 game at Oxford or the 2010 Tennessee game
This is hyperbole

Oh really? It's disgrace to our state that we paid that buffoon unknown millions for 12 years, we should sue for breach of contract to recoup some of the losses

but Miles won his with Saban's players.
He did and also when you listen to all of those players when interviewed today, they all say to a man that Bo Pelini had far more to do with that national championship than Les Miles did.

.......you chose to prove your point with the game where LSU won by Tennessee having 13 men on the field? The point that LSU was poorly run?
haha

Yeah but the hurricane.
That was the excuse for his first game loss to Tennessee, with a three TD lead at half time.
That, IMO, was the tell tale of the future under Miles.
Burrow said the key to his success was the hours of practice put in during the summer.
We had JR, Bowe, Ducet, and Davis. Similar to this years offensive talent. Both QBs, first players chosen in NFL draft.

Or when it took overtime to beat Coach O's undermanned Rebels at home in 2006. Coming out completely flat and needing a miracle comeback to win was the hallmark of Miles' teams

What is it with you bashing Les Miles, he might not be a great coach, but he is a good one and did keep us a top 15 program. People wanted the next Nick Saban and he or very few live up to those expectations. By your philosophy you could say Orgeron lucked into Burrow and Brady.

I don’t understand why so many on here can’t both be happy that Coach O has elevated the program again, while also being appreciative that Les Miles won the national championship and kept the ship afloat. A lot of coaches could have sank the program, look at what Bert did to Arkansas.
Be thankful for what you have and look to the future.

Les had his flaws but he won a national title, played in another and recuited top 5 every year. Nobody tops Saban.

Miles was Bert's bitch: he received two beatdowns in 2014 and 15 and won on a hail Mary in 2013. Bert would've been a major upgrade over Les

If Arkansas is any indication, the only thing Bert would have done is guarantee LSU would be in bad enough shape that O wouldn’t have been able to win that national title as soon as he did.
I can’t imagine having so much irrational hatred for a coach that you want 2-10 seasons instead of the 9-10 seasons we were used to

Miami. That's the only other time.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the 2013-15 Arkansas teams produced a fraction of the future pros those LSU teams did, yet Bert should've been 3-0 against us. Disrespectful to BB to mention Elmer Fudd in the same sentence as him.
Ark and LSU aren't comparable jobs. Any coach without Les' handicaps would've been our coach would've had us in Alabama's place through the past decade considering all the talent we've had. Oh and his equally dense defenders had been taking shots at CEO constantly up to 2019, so I'm rubbing their noses in it

The programs were in relatively comparable states when BB took over. Don’t forget that 2011 season Arkansas was a clear #3 behind Alabama and LSU.

Miami, 4 coaches, even Coker won one and Davis was on his way.
Posted on 5/16/20 at 8:04 pm to blueridgeTiger
I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic, but it’s true 19 starters were Saban, Miles never recruited a QB after the Militant Midget left for Miami.

Miami I believe.
We were on the the fast lane to becoming Miami. I'm glad we got it back on track.

I haven't seen anybody so butt hurt over an ex coach in a very long time (if ever). Sounds like Miles nailed your girl or something.
