If LSU and BRPD cut a deal to keep it quiet, not releasing it to the public would be part of that deal. I think OP meant it’s been released to the lawyer but not the public. Why is that so hard to believe?

Why would I believe that until I am shown evidence that this is the case. That would be what a rational person would call “guessing” and “guessing” is an unreliable way to determine the truth.

You’re not going to be shown evidence that it did or didn’t happen. Ever. And if there is never any complaint by the “victims”, it’s reasonable to assume that they are ok with the video not being released. It has been a month since the alleged wrongful detention. More than adequate time to review the video, if there was a genuine desire to make it public.

I’ve seen evidence from police shooting and other similar situations. Sometimes release by police sometimes the victim.
