Trey holly is 100% a free man. LSU is free to play him if they choose. The system is absolutely working

Why would lsu tell him he can’t play football?

Only in Louisiana!!!… now you have a rant member talking about white players verses black players getting in trouble that’s pathetic , sickening. Some how race always surfaces which has nothing to do with anything.

LSU “fans” vehemently threw Landon Victorians future away on baseball team for pulling knife on a coach; Holley up on murder related charges and it’s a question??

This is how you know this is SEC football!!! If the clip don’t fit, you must acquit !

Holly got himself into this whole mess. It's no one else's fault but his. If he misses a year or more, it's entirely on him. LSU will likely have to go with three running backs and a walk on, and THAT'S entirely on them.

If he didn't play football for LSU, and if LSU wasn't thin at running back, absolutely no one on this board would care about him or his issues. If he played for Alabama, no one would be in his corner, and everyone knows that.

He got himself into this mess. Let the legal system play out. Until then, he can sit and watch. Anyone still complaining about Cecil Collins being suspended?

It really is incredible that John Bolton, the DA, has a son on the coaching staff, and the the new judge has a stepson who is a former player.

It is also disturbing that despite the connections to the team, the DA's office has not backed down/reduced charges and in fact it is being delayed farther out. This tells me there is some potentially strong evidence of a crime. Hope I'm wrong. Small is good though, so.

You think the kid should lose a year of playing when he hasn’t been convicted of a thing? GTFO

This is pretty stupid. LSU admin will look at the charges and the evidence against him, and I'm sure with legal assistance will assess his innocence/guilt based upon evidence and facts. The fact of the matter was he was up to no good, that much we know. Whether it was serious criminal activity, the evidence will determine that, and LSU will decide. It seems like LSU has a few friends/connections here, yet the case hasn't been dismissed/charges reduced yet. Red flag, so far.

Innocent until proven guilty is 100% operating how it should for Holly right now

Not when schools have a policy to suspend all players charged regardless of guilt or innocence.

That's how it should work, but the policy is to suspend no matter what.

Here is my issue with this... The judge should've recused himself the second the police report was submitted and the names of the officer(s) were disclosed.

This should've been done months ago.

I don’t think we necessarily know that at all. I would say the “fact of the matter” is that right now, we don’t know much at all.

If Holly is on bail, is he allowed to leave the parish? If they do allow him to go back to BR to go to school, would he be allowed to go out of state for a road game?

Saw a case where a guy purposely shot at someone and got to take plea for aggravated assault rather than get attempted murder. To me it’s plain and simple. If you fire a weapon at someone it’s attempted murder.
