Miles was starting to get past up by the bottom of the SEC West his last three years record shows excactly that. With A quarterback who only been on campus for three months learning a new system and getting In Rhythm with his receivers. You would expect the passing stats to be lower. Running stats are down because our running back rotation is weaker than it has been a while. All because Miles put all his eggs in the Cam Ackers basket and slow played Travis Etienne, And by the time O took over it was too late the kid already felt disrespected. I think we were down by 28 points against Troy when Miles was the coach. If not for a big fourth-quarter rally that was a loss and that wasn’t the only time we had to catch up in the fourth quarter to inferior teams in the Miles era.

Im asking why those 3 loss seasons under miles were god awful but the 4 loss 2017 season isnt.

Exactly. He had his clock management issues just like other coaches. If you coach at a program for 11 years youre gonna have some issues.
O has been really good at clock management.

Maybe there's a very good reason you don't fire a coach a month into the season. We don't know what would've happened with Akers had Les been able to finish out the season like he deserved.
Maybe he should've been gone in 2015 but once 2016 started he should've been allowed to finish. But we all know why he wasn't allowed, because Alleva was scared of him winning games and getting the public back on his side.
