Good to see you back posting again Rick.

Good season so far. Hopefully it continues.

Yeah, the inconsistent offense is alarming. In my opinion anyway.

I know I've been called out for questioning this fact though. They say I'm a "hater."

I bet dukke's glad your back. He's wandered aimlessly on the rant looking for someone to argue with since you've been gone.

Goldrush25 needs to stop typing. Take the hint bro. You've shown your arse many times this year.

Now your diatribe is I'm concerned he can't replace a kicker and a qb.

It’s not cheeey picking. The decline of miles is when he went 15-11 in SEC. if he was the miles who was much better than that he would still be here. At seasons end O should be somewhere around 16-6 or better in conference. Compared to miles 15-11. Clearly there is no doubt that we have upgraded from the version of miles that we had at the end of his career. O success will come down to if his staff can develop a QB. With good QB play he can be what miles was in his prime. He is already better the end of his run miles

Hey Red. How are you doing? Things with me are going pretty well. Been busy getting my property ready for the rainy winter season. Looking to buy more acreage but I don't think the Washington State winter is the best time to be moving.

have concerns with QB development under Orgeron's watch. I don't think there's any examples of prolific QB play to point to in regards to QBs his staff have developed

They haven't been on the job long enough to call this. At least you admit that you weren't convinced that Burrow and the kicker were upgrades.

It will be interesting to see how the next couple of years play out. God willing I'll be here to see it.

Well, you doubted his ability to get those players in the first place, so of course you would doubt his ability to get players to replace those players.

His ability to recruit ie “get those players” isn’t the question.

The question is, will players of that caliber be available on a regular basis? There is certainly a trend of QBs leaving early, but how many of them are good? let alone played for 3 years under someone like Urban Meyer with a record of success developing QBs

good to hear and you're probably right about the WA winters.
Things here in Shitport (excuse me Shreveport) are pretty good...when we're not killing each other daily.
Wouldn't mind coming up there to live although it would make it very hard to see the tigers on the reg.

It will be very interesting. The recruitment and development of QBs is going to make or break him IMO. I expect to see you here for many years calling people haters, ben.

He has done a great job at this point. The confidence to go with coach E when most people would doubt the move, snatching Burrow, and building a relationship with Aranda by rewarding him with Assistant Head Coach titles and making him the highest paid coordinator.

If he could only instruct his staff to check their emails, they could open up their recruiting to the entire country by using the free trial NCAA approved app sitting there waiting to be used. It's insanity, look at Bama's recruiting, and pay attention to how distributed their recruits are across the nation, that same tool is sitting in their damn email spam folder probably.

At first I never wanted to sell it to coach O, didn't believe he was a good hire, and was afraid it would improve his recruiting to a point that extended his stay as HC, but now I can't get 1 person on his staff to even check it out!

Washington is nice. Although sometimes the rain gets to me. But overall, I like it well enough. As far as seeing the Tigers on the reg is concerned, it does suck when they aren't being shown on tv.

2009 Washington game in Seattle was the last time I went to an LSU football game. I did go to the LSU Oregon State baseball regional back in June.

Didn't enjoy much of it, but I was able to go.

Yes it was.

I know a handful of Oregon State alums that insisted I go to the games with them. Tailgating with them was fine, but getting beatdown the way we did against them was brutal, and then the verbal abuse I received from them was beyond brutal.

But I suppose I deserved it after giving all of them shite about us beating them in the College World Series in 2017.
