I remember hearing Ott & Hanny interviewing Bertman about the hiring of Les Miles. Skip said that the BOS was worried about coaching scandals and they thought that Les Miles was a person of 'High Character" who would never embarrass LSU.
It did take him a while to embarrass LSU off the field, on the field was his usual venue.

Skirt chasing is pretty much par for the course for most rich and powerful guys. What Les did was perhaps a little more blatant and less careful than the norm, but only a little. As long as he kept it on the DL they didn't care too much. TBH Saban Jodying Candy Edwards probably made them more nervous than anything Les did.
What they meant by never embarass LSU was getting caught with a duffel bag of cash in a recruit's living room.

Did he actually do anything wrong other than cheat on his wife with hot college chicks? The smoking gun seems to be that a girl willingly got into his vehicle by herself with him. Am I missing something here? Just kinda funny how Kiffin basically gets praised for the thought of him doing it but Les is somehow the biggest scumbag on earth

You misrepresenting what Skip said. One of the major reasons he went with Les over Bobby Petrino was because of Bobby's character issues.

People live in a unrealistic reality, ignoring our physical make-up. We constantly fight demons of our of our own nature to live in a Social construct we call a just, moral Society? I’m torn constantly from wanting the buffet of young, college women that kept me in rut till I forsake even basic desires such as food, in my former years; to now live in a sacred bond of monogamous chastity. God forbid that I be thrown into that proverbial briar patch, ever again...

Some big differences. Kiffen is single and I doubt he rolls like Miles did as far as technique. Miles reps himself like a family man so these coeds are at first going to think it is OK to be around him, ride in his car, etc. Coeds know Kiffen is single and a player. Also is Kiffen hitting on his student staff? Maybe I missed it.

Yeah that was certainly one of the reasons he was hired . Of course I don’t expect this thread to live very long. So many are being whacked for no reason at all.

I’m also curious about that, I always thought Kiffin was just a horny dude who liked younger chicks. To be honest, I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t even have that much of a problem whether they’re married or not.
I *do* have a huge issue of discriminatory hiring practices and of power figures exploiting it in a manner such as “if you let me spear you I’ll help you get ahead.”
